Fajana de Los Franceses

A path leads over the cliff of the Barranco de Los Hombres gorge to the landing stage from where agricultural products were shipped to the island capital Santa Cruz de La Palma in the 16th century. The sunlight only reaches the terrace of the Fajana in the afternoon, yet the area on the 300-metre-high cliff used to be used agriculturally for fruit growing.
