Mirador Llanos del Jable

The astronomical viewpoint is located 1,200 metres above sea level in the Cumbre Vieja Natural Park. During the day, it offers a fantastic panorama of the Aridane Valley. In front of it is the extinct volcano "Montaña Quemada". At night, you can marvel at the impressive night sky of La Palma from here. At new moon you can even see the Andromeda Nebula with binoculars, it is more than 2.2 million light years away. Information panels provide information about other constellations that can be spotted here at night.
